The bike is being held by the frame on these hook and loop straps in the back. You can slide them up and down a little bit to adjust. If you have a multitude of bikes and you're looking to transport them to a location but you don't wanna keep them in the bed where they'll roll around, scratch themselves in the bed and you maybe are already towing something or you just don't feel like the added length of a bike rack that can support that many bikes, a pad like this might be a good option for you. This Swagman Paramount Pad is actually capable of supporting up to seven bikes along the way, held in place by these hook and loop straps. To get our bike loaded up, first thing we need to do is open one of these straps up and have it ready. I will say for the Ram 2500, it is definitely a taller vehicle, so getting the bike on and off might be a challenge for you. more

This is gonna be a great way to get five bikes to and from the trail without having to worry about them getting damaged or the inside of your bed getting damaged either. Now something that you may wanna know is why wouldn't I just use my hitch There's a lot of reasons that you may not wanna use your hitch on your Gladiator. Maybe you just wanna be able to use it for other things, cargo carrier, and you wanna use the available space in the back of your truck bed. Not only that, but this isn't gonna have a weight capacity like you would have for your hitch. As long as they fit and they fit comfortably, you'll be able to fit five bikes of any size in here, though, I do recommend to play around, figure out what the best setup for your bikes are to make sure that they aren't moving against each other. more

Inno Velo Gripper Truck Bed Bike Rack Review - 2022 Toyota Tundra- Video

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at our Inno Velo Gripper C-channel Mounted Bike Rack right here at etrailer on our 2022 Toyota Tundra. So this is gonna be a truck bed mounted bike rack, so a little different from your hitch mounted bike racks, your tailgate mats, this is gonna mount to the rails of your Toyota Tundra. So in this video, we'll talk about where does it mount, how does it mount, what can it carry, and how having a short bed on a Toyota Tundra changes some things when it comes to carrying your bikes. So the Tundra we have here today is a 5 1/2 foot bed with the utility rails on the side, and as you can see here, I don't even have that long of a wheel base on my bike and I'd still have to drive around with my tailgate down, so that's something definitely worth considering with this type of a bike rack. The pros are you are able to secure your bike by its frame, you don't need to take off the wheels, the downside is because you're not taking off the wheels, you have all that space you need to account for, so tailgate's down as you drive around. So where this style of a bike rack, where it shines over other types of racks is gonna be the stability. more

Howdy everyone, John here and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman Paramount on our 2016 Ford F350 Super Duty. Now this is gonna be a great choice if you wanna get your bikes and maybe some friends bikes out to the trail, without having to worry about them jumping around and being damaged in the back of your tailgate. Now this is going to be for a full size truck. So this is gonna be 61 inches from both sides and it holds seven bikes. Now that's a lot of bikes and you're probably asking yourself how is it able to hold that and keep them from damaging both themselves and the bed of your truck Well, as you can see, it's made out of foam. It's made out of a really nice material and underneath we've got this nice plush padding that's going to protect your tailgate. more

What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Inno Velo Gripper. This is gonna be a truck bed holding bike rack. So it goes in the C channels of your Tacoma and it's gonna be installed on our 2022 Toyota Tacoma today. Inno grip is gonna slide along the channel here and attaches in there, using this hand knob is what tightens it down or loosens it so you can move it back and forth, it slides at the end of the track. And so what you do is you line this up with your bike. more

Hollywood Racks Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota Tundra- Video

Hey everybody Welcome at etrailer.com, I'm Bobby, today we're taking a look at Hollywood racks tailgate pad, here on our 2020 Toyota Tundra. If you looking at a way of getting a lot of bikes to the trail head with you, this can be an excellent option. Now as you see, we're only on the 53 inch version here today, not covering the entirety of our tailgate. If you are looking for that kinda option there are more at etrailer.com, we just want to go ahead and show up the Hollywood racks here today, and that it is still able to be put on here, you are just losing a little bit here about a hand on each side, which isn't too crazy for ourselves today. Now keep an eye on though too, since we are on that 53 inch version, we are gonna be limited to four bikes on this guy, Now personally I think you might be able to fit just a few more, but we only actually have four straps included today now they are just a simple little buckle system here, and you can interchange their links just by adjusting your cam buckles of course, now the only thing I will say to it though, you are stuck on your shortest length, so here today, we are on our shortest length here on our mountain bike, and as you guys can see, we actually are having to go to bolt up our rails here to make sure that we can actually get a good fit on here. One thing I'll say with it too though, it is kinda be almost shift, which we're gonna tailgate pad isn't gonna be the greatest thing for you, now personally, I think you're always gonna be better served by maybe going up to the Thule gate mate pro, that guy is gonna give you a lot better tie-down points, a lot more padding, but if you're looking for a way to just getting yourself going up to the trails, this isn't going to hurt you, yes you're gonna see a little bit of shifting this on your bikes, but we shouldn't have too much interaction, especially as you get four guys up on here, and we know they won't be extended any further because we do have these nice thick pads on the end too, which will prevent our bikes from actually going over the edge which you do love to see. more

Review of Swagman Truck Bed Bike Racks - Impakt Fork Mount Bike Rack - S62FR- Video

Hi, everybody, Andy here with the etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at this Swagman Impakt Fork Mount Bike Rack. Now, this Fork Mount Bike Rack is going to provide a simple secure option for carrying one bike, and this Fork Mount block will bolt onto almost any flat surface and provide a mounting point for one bike with a nine millimeter by 100 millimeter quick release skewer, and it also includes the adapters that you see here for a 12 millimeter by 100 millimeter through axle fork, or a 15 millimeter by 110 millimeter through axle fork. It can also accept 20 millimeter by 110 millimeter through axle forks, with an additional adapter tube. You can find that on our website using item number S64715. Now to swap out the adapter to two tubes rather, you would need a one by three millimeter tool, to loosen this screw, and then once you loosen this screw, that will loosen this adapter tube and you can remove that adapter tube and use the one that would be the best fit for your application. more

Swagman Truck Bed Bike Racks Review - 2021 Jeep Gladiator- Video

What's up everybody it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we will be checking out The Swagman tail whip on our 2021 Jeep gladiator. So this is gonna be a tailgate pad that goes over your tailgate, so you can haul your bikes on there. That way you don't have to use your hitch. If you don't have one, don't wanna use your hitch, don't want something big clunky rack here on the backside, you still wanna be able to use the tailgate whenever you can. Clearly, we can't do it with the bike on it here right now, but the pad just lays over your tailgate, adds that nice padding here, I don't know if you can see that from me pushing in on it, but decent amount of padding here, maybe here on the end, you can see how thick it is and how it's not gonna have any issues like damaging your tailgate. more

So, this can be a very nice way of getting a lot of bikes here in the bed of our Gladiator, making it a lot easier to get a lot of people to that destination with our bikes. Now, predominantly, what are these guys are utilized for is mountain bikers, loading up at the bottom of hill, dragging all their bikes all the way at the top and running back down again. And what's really nice about this guy, we are gonna have four little sets of straps to go ahead and have four bikes here on our mid-size track. more

Now, this going to be a great way of just getting a couple of bikes to that destination, wherever you might be going. Now, we can go ahead and fit up to five bikes on here. We've gone ahead and thrown in our 48-inch wheelbase with 29-inch rims to give you guys a good representation of the kind of bikes you're definitely gonna be able to take with this tailgate pad.
